Being in the
computer industry lends
itself to giving back, Ray says.
“The biggest thing people need
is to communicate,” he says.
“That’s why being involved
with technology and giving to
charity goes hand in hand.”
Ray feels fortunate he’s
been able to help many local
schools set up computer labs
and support scholarship funds
for students in technology.
He’s also donated more
than 100 laptops over the last
couple years to charities.
“Not everybody can donate
a computer,” he says.
“But for large, successful com-
panies, it’s part of their corpo-
rate responsibility in society.
It’s the least they can do.”
